The Ease of Onboarding New Staff
Smile Solutions of Baltimore’s Dr. Jesse Ritter, DDS, explains how Curve Hero™ makes it easy it is to integrate a new team member into your practice.
Hello, my name is Doctor Jesse Ritter and I am a Curve user. I've been a Curve user for about two and a half years now, and this video is in an effort to help you understand how easy Curve makes it to integrate new team members into your practice on the practice management software side of things.
Now, I came from SoftDent before I worked with Curve. And SoftDent after working with it for I think I was with it for about seven years, I still didn't know how to use the vast majority of the software because things are so complex. There's a lack of intuitiveness to the way the software is built. And there's a thousand buttons everywhere.
Curve, however, in a matter of weeks, can be learned by a team member. And so it's not going to take years and years. I can remember, when there was a couple times that I was hiring and, you know, employees or prospective, employees would say, you know, 20 years experience with SoftDent and I would think, man, that's fantastic, because that's about how many years of experience you need to be able to use it.
But with Curve, it is literally a matter of weeks until a person can be up and ready to go with it and actually not necessarily maybe have like a deep, deep mastering of the software, but they can very much function in your practice. And so, you know, there's just a level of intuitiveness, built into the software and a lack of complexity and just a cleanness, a cleanliness of the interface that makes it very easy for people to figure out.
Another thing that team members have reported, and I believe this myself, is just the color coding of things and the ability to kind of drag and drop things, and not to mention the fact that things are cloud-based. You know, when we have, days where, somebody is feeling a little bit under the weather or need to stay, needs to stay home, maybe there is weather and we have a snow day or something like that. You know, people can work from home. I can access the schedule from home on any laptop and a computer.
So it just makes it incredibly easy to integrate people in, to allow them to, to train and learn the software, even from home before they get to your office. And the Curve Community and the online resources are incredible. And if people have questions about things, it's really easy for them to reach out to customer support, open a ticket through the software and get an answer within hours sometimes.
So it's just an incredible tool, an incredible thing to have in your practice that allows you to integrate new team members quickly and efficiently. So I hope this video was helpful to you all. And, I'll, I'll check you later. Take care.
