Curve is the Best Choice for Multi-location Mac-based Practices
Curve has been the best solution for our specific needs because when we went to a second location, we quickly realized that the server based system was not going to be viable for our setup. Moving into VPN and remote access, it became too cumbersome to log in remotely access patient records from another site, and we needed a centralized database to hold all of our patient records.
With there being so little dental software options on the market that are Mac-specific in a server based world, Curve has been the best solution for us because it doesn't involve anything local on our computer. We're able to log in to Google Chrome. We have our software available, and whether we're at one location or four is irrelevant. So Curve has made that seamless transition to the cloud possible while utilizing Macs, which we're partial to without the inhibitions of PC specific software.
First, commitment to customer care and support has been absolutely unbelievable. From onboarding and training to the consistent updates that they provide. We've been utterly astounded with how much support and involvement they have with the advancement of the product, our needs specifically, and the development on the whole. Even from when we started, we had an issue with our x-ray system, and Curve support went into full speed ahead right from the get go and got our solution solved. It was a very customer specific need that they developed a fix for it on an individual basis for us. It was overwhelming the kind of support they gave to our company specifically to fix a very niche need that we had, and we were just blown away by the type support we received from them.
Curve has really upped our team's game on billing and insurance by allowing us to work across multiple locations seamlessly through the cloud, working on a central database for billing, patient balances, insurance, things like that. And we've also utilized third party help and some of the insurance side. And they're able to remote log in, accomplish a myriad of tasks for us and help out with the workload as well.
I think I'd recommend Curve to anyone, whether they're in a single location or multiple, because it's the best solution to move into the cloud and takes away so many of the headaches of the server based system.
Whether your main goal is to scale up to multiple offices, or you want to repossess yourself in the cloud and take away the headaches of IT, of downtime and things like that that require outside help and a lot of headache. Meanwhile, you position yourself to grow with ease at the drop of a dime should you want to. It gives you a lot of stability in your single office, and then you're poised to grow from there should you want to do so.

How to Add An Area Of Interest To A Dental Image
In our continued journey to expand Curve Image functionality, we now offer the ability to add an Area of Interest annotation to any x-ray, intraoral image, pan, or any other dental image. Area of Interest annotations are highlighted sections of an image. All of the Areas of Interest annotations placed on an image can also have attached clinical notes. This means that information relative to the area is directly available from the Area of Interest. Area of Interests annotations are also available to images displayed in mounts.
