We have two dental practices. One was opened over 45 years ago in Citrus Heights, California, and that's Weidemen Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics in Citrus Heights. About 15 years ago, Doctor Cindy Weidemen, with her husband, Doctor Kelvin Tse, opened practice in Rocklin, California, Smile Island Pediatric and Adult Dental Group in Rocklin. So both practices have grown and evolved over the years to multi-specialty practices.

So before Curve Dental, we did not have a cloud-based dental software solution in either practice. And we'd not experienced cloud-based dental software in either of our practices. It was something totally new to us. We've been server based for the entirety of our practices’ lifespan. And really, we had no idea what it was going to do for our practices.

Our former software, we had spent about 15 years with them off and on, and it was great in the beginning, but the challenges were that they really did not move with the times. There were no updates. There were no changes with modern day technology and things that were coming online that would have benefited our practices and helped our patients and helped us provide better care to the community. And that's something that really we have seen day in, day out, that Curve has done for us compared to our old talk of the company. 

So some of the features that have improved our day to day operations and improve the way that we manage patient care or things like, patient forms that we didn't have access to before with our old software. And we could have used a third party service, but having all of those integrations built in with Curve is so fast and easy and efficient for our staff to not have to learn how to use another platform for. Curve makes it so easy to create the forms, implement them, and get them to the patients, and the patients actually adopt a feature.
