Why We Switched to Curve Dental | Honest Dentist Review & Workflow Tips
Dr. Ben Thornal from Comfort Dental shares why switching from a traditional server-based practice management software to Curve Dental was a game-changer for his practice.
I don't want to overstate it, but it's such a difference from what we were working with with our previous server-based dental practice management software to what we're doing now with Curve. It's so much faster. It's so much smoother.
As far as the workflow goes, I feel like I walk into the operatory, the chart is up and ready. If I need to see the films, I click on them, they're right there. I don't have to go between different modules or wait for another module to open. It's so much faster.
As far as accessing the info that we need, whatever that may be, whether it's films or reports, schedules -- it's so much quicker cloud-based with Curve than it was on the server. And I'm trying to think of a great way to say it, it's just we don't sit around and wait for that spinning little wheel to open up a new module like we did with the, with the server-based practice management software. I haven't timed it, but all of us, all of the partners would say it's noticeably faster.
When I finish my shift, I'm ready to go home, spend time with my family, have dinner. And before, I would either have to stay and do my charts in the office or I paid for a third-party software to let me log in remotely, and then it was like dial-up days trying to get my charts done.
I can come straight home, I can have some dinner, I can say hi to everybody, and then I can sit down, I can do my charts just as fast as if I was in the office, and it's all clear, and it's all just seamless.
