The Biggest Differences Between Curve & Dentrix
There are a lot of differences between Curve and Dentrix. One of the biggest ones that I can think of is that I know I've had staff changes with the recent pandemic issues, and when we have had new staff members come in, they're younger, they're hipper, they're kind of more in tune with stuff. We did the transition from Dentrix to Curve, and so we still had Dentrix on our computers.
I have a young staff member who is like this, like, what is this thing? It's crazy. It's like from the 80s. Versus Curve, he was all over it. He's like this is the best. I mean, this is clearly a superior product. So if you're having new staff members come in, they're seeing what's a current product. And it's also much, much easier to train on and learn. They have great training modules. They have the Curve Community.
And you know, if something can't be answered in Curve Community, which is kind of like their online resource, it's a simple phone call. And every single time without fail that we have called Curve, and I'm not kidding here. Every single time in the last year since we've done a transition, we've called a little bit more often, that’s normal. They've answered the phone within one minute.
Dentrix, we've called a few times. You're on hold forever. And you know that just actually, if you weren't a Dentrix customer just call Dentrix and try to get on a support call. It's shocking. And all the forums say that.
