Use Almost Any Sensor or Camera

Our goal is for Curve's imaging software to become a universal platform for any sensor. Our software will also capture images from nearly any TWAIN compatible camera, device, or scanner. You can also import images. Curve's imaging software will offer your practice a new level of simplicity, flexibility and efficiency.

The only sensor manufacturer unwilling to assist us is DEXIS, who has adopted a proprietary strategy. The DEXIS sensor is a popular sensor and we'll keep working with DEXIS to find a solution that fits their business model.

If you're using Mac's in your practice you probably already know that most of the sensor manufacturers don't provide a Mac driver. As a result, the image capture features are pretty much confined to the PC world. You can view and import images with a Mac, but until Mac drivers for mainstream sensors become available capturing images remains a PC thing.

It doesn't take much time at all to make it all work, if it's something we haven't worked with before.

If you're a Mac lover then you should know that most digital x-ray sensor manufacturers do not provide a Mac driver for their sensors. Not yet, anyway. For the moment you may want to stick to a PC in the operatory. However, times are changing, so we suggest you contact one of our True Orange Partners to get the full story.
